Putting Passive House to the Test! From the Beginning.
Wednesday, May 23, 2012 at 8:15AM This page will host links to the Putting Passive House to the Test! series which will chronicle and detail the planning and implementation of a project that I would like to reach Passive House status with. The picture above shows the exact lot and conditions - Marine Climate 4 and really humid. There are actual Temperate Rainforests nearby and I think this could be close to that. I will be building a travel trailer and two outbuildings, all of which will be monitored for moisture. Each will be modeled in the PHPP, THERM, and WUFI during the design process. I will try to make Passive House status and will be learning and sharing all the steps with you along the way. Will it make it? Follow along and find out!
