What You Need

If you have a new design of a wall or roof and you just want to assess how it deals with moisture, are working on a remodel project, or want to add additional layers to a healthy assembly, we suggest the Quick Exam.

The Quick Exam

The Small Planet Workshop will do one WUFI case study of your proposed assembly. This includes the WUFI Output pages and our written report with an opinion as to whether WUFI's results indicate your proposed assembly sufficient. The output report offers a red, yellow or green light. The reports are detailed and are suitable to remain with the construction documents for the project. You can see sample reports here: Sample WallSample Roof.

Problem Solving a Project

In most situations Quick Exam will yield the results you need for single cases.  If you're dealing with a more complex build, or there is a problem and you need a solution, we can offer The Full Checkup. This is a consulting role where we could suggest solutions, ask about what you can change and what you can't, and run additional cases.  We are happy to help you problem solve the assembly. We can discuss terms and project limits for the Full Checkup based on your needs.

What are the Rates?

The Quick Exam: Single case study including final report: $249

The Full Checkup: $79 per hour. You set the limits. Includes a final report.

What You'll Get From Us

Here are examples of both a wall and roof WUFI case study report. The report that you receive will be similar in scope and detail. Note that The Quick Exam is for a single section of a wall or a roof. Your pick. Again, we can't guarantee how your assembly will perform, we can only advise you what the WUFI Program outputs likely indicate.
